Welcome to my world of ceramic sculptures, where each piece is lovingly crafted by hand, free from the potter's wheel. This process is a true labour of love, and while it can be time-consuming—sometimes taking up to 20 hours to shape a single sculpture and another 28 hours in the kiln—it’s all part of the creative journey that fuels my passion.
Working with clay is like dancing with the material, letting it guide me, feeling its movement as it evolves. Of course, not every creation goes as planned—there are moments when a sculpture might unexpectedly explode in the kiln, but rather than be discouraged, I embrace these moments as opportunities to learn and grow. The next day, I dive right back in, more inspired than ever.
My sculpting isn’t about achieving perfection; it’s about expressing creativity and capturing the beauty of my Australian Far North Queensland Coral Sea inspiration. Every piece is an expression of my love for this craft, and I am truly thrilled to share it with you.
This is my heart in clay. This is me.
