Awena Daniel

French photographer Awena has always been drawn to the art of storytelling through photography. As a child, she would often be found playing with a camera, whether it was her own or one borrowed from her parents, capturing moments without yet realizing the depth of her passion. It wasn’t until she set off to explore the world that photography became more than a pastime, it became her voice.

With a Master’s degree in Management from France, Awena initially followed a corporate path. But the allure of adventure proved stronger. Swapping business plans for a backpack, a camera, and a drone, she embarked on a journey across the globe. Through more than 30 countries, she honed her craft, finding inspiration in people, museum halls, diverse cultures, and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Her travels eventually led her to Port Douglas, a place where tropical beauty and a vibrant community made her feel instantly at home. Here, surrounded by the lush rainforest and the endless ocean, she continues to refine her vision, capturing both the grand and the understated, the fleeting and the timeless.

Awena’s work is more than photography, it’s an invitation to see the world differently. Whether through vast landscapes or intricate details often overlooked, she seeks to reveal the beauty that exists all around us, if only we pause to notice.

Now sharing her art through fine prints and acrylics, Awena invites others to take home a piece of the world she sees through her lens. Her images are more than décor; they are windows into moments of wonder, adventure, and connection.
